Our Mission:
The mission of the Navajo County Education Service Agency - Special Services Consortium ("The Consortium") is to ensure that school children in Navajo, Apache, and Coconino Counties benefit from the services of highly qualified professional staff members in their schools. The Consortium was started in 1988 with the express purpose of filling high need positions in small schools throughout Navajo County. Since it's inception, The Consortium has grown to 27 member school districts in the 3 county region comprising all of northeastern Arizona. These districts have come to realize that by working together to recruit and retain these highly qualified (and highly valued) staff members they are most effective at meeting the needs of their students in the most cost-effective way. |
Our Vision:
It is the desire of The Consortium leadership to become THE source of all professional staffing needs for school districts in our 3 county region. Whether the districts need the benefit of our cooperative therapy services, or recruitment for district employee positions, we are prepared to meet their needs. The larger our membership, and more varied the services we deliver, the greater the value we can provide to our members. The greatest cost savings comes with the size of our organization. As we continue to grow we anticipate even better service opportunities for our districts, greater benefits to our valuable staff members, and increased long-term stability. We will reach our goals by having great people like you on our team! Contact Us:
